2. Phone Automatically Restarts.
3. Go to site given in description.
4. Download software and install
5. Connect Phone in mass storage mode.
6. The rest of software will be installed by PC.
7. New navigation icon appears in menu.

Hi all ..
the samsung navigation feature is hidden in most of the JET phones. Using this video you can enable it and use route 66 software for your navigation needs. The route 66 offers free road maps. And the MY Position function in the navigator really works. While enabling the navigation feature, the phone saves and retstarts. It may restart continually(Happened for me) in that case just remove the battery and reinstall and turn back on. The new navigation icon will appear but 'it wont run' because the software is not fully installed. So you need to go to the route 66 site given above and download the sync software for samsung JET and install it. Once intalled connect your phone in mass storage mode and route 66 will automatically detect the phone and install the software. On the phone after installing the program may ask to get license key from server. Just click no and you are good to go.You can go to route 66 store to get free road maps.Enjoy!!

gps stopped working ? i checked if the lbsapp was still enabled and it was. but when i load the app it says getting position for ages (like 10mins ive left it for)

ReplyDeleteMy phone came with google maps and it seems to be quite handy.
Check with their Sumsung customer support which refer me to AGIS but AGIS did provide GPS support for Samsumg Jet model. However, the white Jet did have GPS but only for six months, there after need re-active again or pay for it. Black Samsung Jet no GPS even try to active thru the activation code it still doesn't work..
