Remove Operator Widget

A simple method to remove the annoying service provider logo from the desktop screen

1. Connect your Jet to your PC via USB an start TKFileExplorer
2. Connect the Jet and TKFE
3. Browse to the REGISTRY-folder on your Jet
4. Download the following INI-file to your PC: SettingWidget.ini
5. Open the file with Notepad and search for this entry: PLMN Value=1
6. Change 1 to 0 and save the file
7. Copy SettingWidget.ini with TKFE back to the REGISTRY-folder on your Jet
8. Disconnect your phone and restart it
9. After booting up you wont see those operator widgets on the Desktop anymore.

  2. Hi, this is unrelated but I'm kinda desperate 'cause my s8000 keeps restarting over and over and I'm unable to use it, so is there a way to perform a hard reset by pressing a combination of buttons? I can't do it by typing codes because the phone keeps restarting...

    thanks!
